I started programming at the age of 13. My first computer experience at that time was on a Sinclair Zx-81, quickly followed by Sinclair's Spectrum and Sinclair QL computer. At age of 14 I released my first application "Survey", which was a administration application for Taxi companies, written in QBasic, the programming language of the Sinclair QL computer.

In 1985 I started programming with Nantucket's Clipper'85 Winter version and immediately assumed an active role in the Clipper CompuServe forums as a supporter of the xBase language and answering many questions from other Clipper programmers. When the software market shifted to Windows I started programming with the FiveWin library for Clipper.

I am the Developer, and Publisher, of the successful Belgian Accounts Receivables, and Book-keeping application, WinFakt. I’m also the founder of the www.FiveWin.info site which is the most popular site, for the professional FiveWin programming community.

I’m the author of several technical publications, about programming in Clipper. I also made numerous presentations across the world, on such topics as "OLE with Clipper", and Clipper/Harbour programming in general.

I was one of the key members of the Harbour-Project, since it's inception in April 1999. From that time, I was responsible for the Software Releases of the Harbour Project, and was the Project's Web Master, until the end of 2002.

Based on my extensive and intimate knowledge, of the Clipper, Harbour and xHarbour, communities, and my over a decade of successful business experience, as a Software Publisher, along with his Web expertise, I will be able to direct xHarbour.com Inc. to a promising future!

Talks between Ron Pinkas, the creator of xHarbour, and me in late 2002, made it clear that the Clipper, Harbour, xHarbour, communities, and the xBase community at large, desperately need a strong Technical and Commercial Leader. xHarbour.com Inc. is the result of these talks.
